Frequently Asked Questions
What is The Bash? The St. Charles Borromeo Bash is our school's largest fundraising event for the year where we aim to CELEBRATE, GIVE, and INSPIRE. Can I bring my students to The Bash? While the event is centered around enriching the lives of our students at St. Charles, The Bash is an adults only function. Do I need to be a parent of St. Charles to participate? No! The Bash is a community event and you do not need to be a parent to attend. We are excited to welcome alumni, parishioners, grandparents and friends and neighbors from other schools. Everyone is welcome to attend, support and have fun! How can I support without attending The Bash? We would love to have you but understand not everyone can make the event. Please visit the event website and select "Online Bidding Only" ticket option so you are able to participate via online/mobile bidding for the Silent Auction. There are other ways to support The Bash including the Fund-a-Need and ticket sponsor for those who are unable to afford a ticket. Can I reserve a table? Yes! You can purchase a table for your group. More details to come. Is dinner included? A full delicious dinner is included for all attendees. Dinner service is 6:15 pm - 7:15 pm. Where do I park? Parking at the Hollywood Theater is available on both sides Johnson Street. There is also a small parking lot across from Parkway Pizza. What should I wear? The 2025 Borromeo Bash is a formal event, and we encourage all guests to dress to impress! This year, we've moved away from specific themes, allowing you the freedom to express your personal style while keeping the evening elegant and sophisticated. Evening gowns, suits, tuxedos, and cocktail dresses are all welcomed, so feel free to dress up for this special occasion. We understand that not everyone may have access to formal attire, and we want everyone to feel included—if a full formal outfit isn’t in your budget, please still join us and wear something nice that makes you feel confident and ready to enjoy the evening. Your presence is what truly matters, and we can’t wait to celebrate with you. What forms of payment are accepted? Cash, debit and credit card will be accepted. The credit card from your ticket purchase is saved in our bidding software, Greater Giving, for convenient future bidding. The bar will be cash and credit only for drink tickets. All raffles will need to be paid for via credit card - please plan accordingly. It is also recommended to bring cash as there are several opportunities for raffles and games ranging from $20 - $100 that require cash payment. Note there are no ATMs on-site. When does the Silent Auction end? The Silent Auction ends promptly at 7:30 pm after dinner service. When does the Live Auction begin? The Live Auction begins after dinner service and the evening presentation. How will I get my winnings? All lucky winners of a Live or Silent Auction item will receive information for claiming prizes the night of The Bash. Silent Auction items will be available to pick up and take home directly from The Bash. If you cannot be there, all auction items will be at the school office after the event and you can pick them up there! I'd like to go but cannot afford a ticket. How can I attend? While ticket prices are set to reflect the quality of the experience, St. Charles is committed to ensuring that cost is not a barrier to attendance. If the ticket price poses a difficulty, please contact our event team directly. We will gladly work with you to make your participation possible as long as the event has not sold out. We look forward to coming together in support of St. Charles and our community. How do I volunteer for The Bash? The Event Team has a need for various volunteer opportunities. This includes day-of set-up, clean-up, Wishlist support. Please click here for a full list of volunteer spots and to sign up!
